SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
I am available to speak about my books to organizations. As a life-long
educator, I think I can safely say I'm an effective and entertaining
communicator. My books deal with Jamaican culture, issues of the Third World,
sixties issues, Viet Nam, Key West culture, writing technique, publishing
techniques, Transcendental Meditation, and New Age concerns.
I ask a $25 speaking fee to cover expenses as well as the right to sell my
books. My presentation can be accompanied by Powerpoint displays if the
equipment is available.

Besides being the author of three works of fiction, I hold a Master of Fine Arts
degree in Creative Writing from Penn State as well as a bachelors degree in
Education and an M.A. in English. I passed my doctoral comps. Furthermore,
I've taught writing on all levels for over forty years.
As part of this service, I will provide advice about publishing. If I edit your
project, a very good opportunity exists for getting it published.
